It is with great pleasure that we at Emond Tax and Financial Group announce the appointment of Lance H. Tortolano, E.A. as Senior Partner and successor to Jay Emond effective January 1, 2012. Emond Tax and Financial Group has developed a brand within the community for quality, service and an institution amongst tax and accounting firms. Lance will continue to honor the guiding principles which created the firm, Emond Tax and Financial Group, in its current form.
As President of Tortolano and Company, LLC Lance brings a depth of experience in tax, accounting and business advisory services to guarantee success. As a graduate of Merrimack College with a B.S. in Accounting, Lance’s career included McLarney and Co. Chelmsford, MA, where he was responsible for audit, tax and IT consulting encompassing the non-profit, for profit and International sectors.
Prior to McLarney and Co., Lance was the Controller reporting to the CFO of Excella Healthcare, in Amesbury, MA. While at Excella, Lance was responsible for multi-state and federal tax compliance and reporting.
